Woke Abortion Ads

In the last 3 days, I feel like I've been bombarded with Planned Parenthood Ads in anticipation of the Supreme Court's decision on abortion later this week. Planned Parenthood is NOT doing a good job of mobilizing their army.

You see the 3 representative women in their ad?

A 40 year old Black Female.

A 40 year old Muslim Female.

A 30 year old While Female, in a wheelchair.

Who do I think is having all the abortions? My initial guess was that 90% of abortions were Black and White teens.

But guess what? You can look that up.

Age group having abortions? About half are 24 and under. 97% are under 40.

Race having abortions? 40% White, 30% Black, 25% Hispanic, 5% Asian/Pacific Islander, 5% Other

Handi-Capable ladies having abortions? Who knows, the government doesn't track that. My guestimate is 12. Not 12%, like 12 in the whole nation.

So in Planned Parenthood's rush to be woke, they're not hitting their target demographic. As a matter of fact, by featuring a Muslim woman in a Hijab, they are probably alienating strict adherents of the Quran that consider abortion "wrong and forbidden."

Remember, you can never be woke enough.

<wink>

Why so glib? (Again?)

Because if the Supremes reverse Roe v Wade, it means 50 more years of bitter arguing.

If the Supremes throw the decision back to the States, we are one step closer to Civil War.

Nothing the Supreme Court does will solve the root problem: Men think they control Women's Bodies.

Women should control Women's Bodies.

I'm a man, I ain't gettin' pregnant.

And I ain't gettin' anyone else pregnant.

As a libertarian-leaning writer, what are my limits for a situation that I am not in?
