The Proper Way to Wage a War

Where do you live?

I'm not being glib here, tell me: Where do you live?

Won't play ball, eh? Okay, I'll go first. I live in a lower-middle class suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I live on a cul-de-sac on the edge of my suburb. The closest non-residential building to my home is an elementary school about a quarter of a mile away as the crow flies. The closest apartment complex to my home borders the same elementary school about .25 miles away. The closest commercial buildings are a Speedway and a CVS about a half a mile away.

Where is all this pedestrian information going? Why do I keep droning on? In that half a mile radius, I have a pretty good idea of what's going on. On my street, there's mostly retirees, but I'm confident that there's 2 lower-level drug dealers that live nearby. Not a cartel, but very low-end criminals. One street down from me, there is a pyrotechnics aficionado who enjoys shooting off industrial level fireworks all summer long. The apartment complex is mostly filled with retirees and minor-league delinquents. In the last 5 years, there have been 2 murders in that radius, both were domestic disputes.

You know what's NOT nearby me? An army base.

In Lebanon, Hezbollah is in the basements of apartment complexes, hidden in school annexes, and underneath private businesses. So when Hezbollah's Leader in Lebanon, Hassan Nassrallah, was assassinated by bunker busting bombs, guess where he was located? Underneath an apartment complex. If you look on the edges of the picture, the ruble is surrounded by private housing on all sides. Those aren't soldiers surveying the damage, those are the neighbors in the Beirut suburb.

Instead of wasting Israeli Soldiers' lives invading Lebanon, Bibi Netanyahu simply cut off the head of the snake.

More countries should try that strategy.

In Russia, Vladimir Putin has evolved into the classic definition of a dictator. Just last week it was reported that the 1,000,000th casualty, either killed or injured, occurred on the Russian/Ukrainian Border. When Putin invaded Ukraine, he expected a quick capitulation but was more than happy to empty his prisons and conscribe Russians from the countryside to fuel his war.

When Pope Francis clumsily stated there were no "good guys or bad guys" in the conflict, what he meant to say was that neither the Russian nor the Ukrainian were inherently evil.

But if someone would have assassinated Putin in 2021, that could have saved, potentially, a million lives. If governments began to kill their enemy's leaders, that would save a lot of lives. If the Pope endorsed offing one evil man to save a million, you would think he'd be down with that?

International leaders would not be down with that.

Let's say you were one of America's enemies and you successfully knocked off Joe Biden. You know what would happen? Kamala Harris would be the President the very next day. Our Constitution outlines the line of succession for the Republic.

Our Founding Fathers tried to make sure that no one man was bigger than the Republic. That's why we have a system of checks and balances. Right now, our country is under attack, but not by whom the media warns you about. The nominee, Kamala Harris, on the Democrat side running for President, did not garner one single vote in the primaries, then a stacked convention did the will of the Left-Wing elite. All the while, those sympathetic to her cause keep trying to kill her opponent. Surprisingly, in the last month there's been TWO assassination attempts on Republican Donald Trump. I will be voting Libertarian this time around, but it's the Left trying to abolish the electoral college and threatening to change the terms of the Supreme Court justices to stay in power. The Founding Fathers also tried to make sure political parties weren't bigger than the Republic, unfortunately we are close to that danger coming to fruition.

You scream that Trump is the reincarnation of Hitler? What Hitler-esque things did Trump do? Get himself voted out of office?

But back to Russia, there is no line of succession. Putin dies, for any reason, and the country could be plunged into civil war. Vladimir Putin has made himself bigger than Russia. The war on the Russian Border is not about World Conquest, but about obedience.

Either:

Russian Soldier: You will die for Russia.

Ukrainians Soldier: You will bow to Russia.

Russia will never disappear, no matter what. The oblasts, krais, and federal cities would be loyal to whoever the new leader of the country would be. But by invading Ukraine, Putin is trying to rebuild the Soviet Union. If the former Soviet Republics, like Ukraine, wanted to be part of Russia, they wouldn't have declared independence. Since Putin has weakened his country's Constitution, he has made it easier for current Russian Republics to breakaway after his passing. (Like Chechnya.)

If more countries had elections and binding Constitutions, in theory, the state would be bigger than any individual. Whether Putin likes it or not, all humans die at some point.

Which circles us back to the beginning. In the Middle East, Hezbollah is not a country, it is an extension of Iran. Iran's leaders suck, but instead of the populace rising up against their shitty leaders, citizens are taught to hate Israel, the Jews are a historically convenient scapegoat for totalitarian regimes.

Why would a Lebanese citizen allow Hezbollah in their neighborhoods? If they hate Israel, too, they got what they deserved yesterday. If Hezbollah killed Netanyahu, the state of Israel would survive and would elect a successor. If Iran escalates after Hassan Nasrallah's death, who's to say Israel wouldn't try to kill Ayatollah Ali Khamenei?

If Khamenei was assassinated, would that be the spark of World War III, or would it plunge Iran into civil war? Is that the endgame for Israel? Killing Khamenei, but not invading Iran?

Khamenei's death would be beneficial to both the Israeli AND the Iranian peoples.

If I commit murder, the state knows where to find me. Notice which countries have their leaders hidden away from the people.

And don't forget the elephant in the room. In 1945, we dropped an atom bomb on Japan because we (America) deemed it too costly, in American Soldiers' lives, to invade. Right now, Putin, Netanyahu, and Khamenei are all itching to use an atom bomb...."in self-defense."

There is only one country that is in danger of being wiped from the map if all their enemies attacked, and that is Israel.

Israel has a right to exist. You say Palestine has a right to exist too? We've been over this before.
