The Absurdity of the 2024 Election

As I watched Elon Musk jump up and down on stage at a Donald Trump Rally last weekend, like he was Tom Cruise on Oprah Winfrey's Couch, I realized that this Presidential Election has turned into a farce.

And not your run-of-the-mill embarrassment, but an HISTORICAL farce.

Do you know who Chase Oliver is? He's the Libertarian running for President this election cycle.

I could tell you what he believes in, and what doesn't believe in, but you don't care, you're not going to vote for the Libertarian Porcupine.

But I am going to tell you this about Chase Oliver, he went through the process. In March, I called Chase Oliver a "placeholder" because I was convinced that he was only the Libertarian Nominee until RFK Jr. cut some sort of backroom deal. I was wrong and I admit that I was wrong. Going into November, Chase Oliver won that Libertarian Nomination, fair and square, and will have earned every vote that he garners this fall.

Do you remember the last Libertarian Nominee for President? I do, it was Gary Johnson. He was an outsider, former Governor of New Mexico, and came off as more of a cool college professor than a politician. You know when he was officially declared dead in the water in that 2020 race? He made a contextual gaffe on a little watched morning show and the national media howled "you can't vote for Gary Johnson, he doesn't know where Aleppo, Syria is!"

Now Gary Johnson wasn't winning anyhow, but the media beat Johnson's Aleppo Moment into the ground. How absurd is that in context with today?

Chase Oliver is the youngest and sharpest candidate in this election. He is the only one running that is pushing for limits on government. If you so choose, you could vote for the first openly gay candidate for President. But the media isn't interested in any of those perspectives, they cannot get past the "YOU HAVE TO VOTE AGAINST THE OTHER CANDIDATE" narrative.

Donald Trump is 78 years old and says something incoherent almost daily. Joe Biden spoke so many incomprehensible statements that the leaders in his own party made him drop out of the Presidential Race.

Which brings us to Kamala Harris, anointed to be the President with no primary votes from actual American citizens. The shenanigans the Democrat Party used to remove Biden from the ticket will be studied for a century. Do you know how many backroom handshakes from Pelosi on down had to be made for a smooth transition at the top of the Democrat Ticket?

Kamala Harris' attitude has been "oh, Joe Biden has a diminished capacity? If you say so, I hadn't noticed. But I accept the Party Nomination to be president."

That is criminal.

But since the Democrats did it, it was okay. Donald Trump is Hitler and any short cuts to the democratic process are worth it to stop the '21st Century's Greatest Evil."

If you step back and think about it, the Johnson-level gaffes made by both the Democrat and Republican nominees would need to be tabulated on a spreadsheet, but this election is too important to talk about third party candidates-

Surprisingly though, the biggest scammer of the Presidential Bunch ended up being Robert Kennedy Jr. He was the red-hot third-party candidate, ready to take on the system. Then you found out he was trying to cut deals with both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump to get jobs in their administrations, trading an endorsement for personal game. Then you found out, he wasn't just running for president for personal gain, but the whole campaign was all just an elaborate scheme to plow skanks.

I am telling you, Glenn Back is on to something. Last week he went to Ashville, North Carolina and reported this: "The government can’t save us. Washington is too slow and too bureaucratic, and quite frankly, the government doesn’t care. I’ve seen a lot of destruction in my life. I’ve walked through war zones and cities torn apart by riots, and I've stood at the sites of natural disasters that leave communities devastated. But what I saw in Asheville, North Carolina, after Hurricane Helene was unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed."

Was Donald Trump in Ashville? No.

Was Kamala Harris in Ashville? No.

Why did the media, in general, forget about Ashville? Because covering Ashville could only hurt Kamala Harris. Whether she wants to admit it or not, she is the current administration. Even the dullest citizens amongst us are aware of that fact.

When Harris tried to get a photo opp for Milton, Governor DeSantis chased her away. Milton, for its size and strength, did relatively little damage because the governor, who endorsed Donald Trump, was proactive in regard to an incoming storm.

As the last hurdles in the election process are being cleared, most states are already in the bag for one candidate or the other. The fate of the nation is literally in the hands of a couple of thousand undecided voters in a few swing states.

And when I say undecided voters, I don't mean voters who can't make a decision, but voters who do not care. They will go to the ballot box, through habit, and will vote depending on the last thing they heard on TV or which way the wind is blowing.

Which is why former President Barack Obama is standing on an overturned soap box, screaming into a megaphone: Donald Trump wears a DIAPER!

The highest visibility candidate, to go through the process, and has said the least amount of disqualifying statements, isn't even a blip on the media's radar. You are probably scrolling back to the top of the story to remember his name.

Why is that?
