Winners of the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson Fight:
Jake Paul: He won. He beat the baddest man on the planet. (30 years past his prime.) He got paid. He has bragging rights. After this fight, he is a household name.
Mike Tyson: Mike Tyson didn't care if he won or lost at 58 years old. He got paid to the tune of $20+ million. What else could Tyson have done to get paid like that? Nothing. Tyson also loves women. The shots of Tyson wearing a speedo at weigh-in, and ass-open in a jock strap at pre-bout, guaranteed he will be getting laid at a prodigious rate until his death.
Netflix: You say Netlix was the loser due to the glitches? Wrong. That fight meant nothing. It didn't matter who won or lost except for bragging rights. Neflix wants to be in the Live Sports game and the fight in Arlington was nothing but a big budget practice run for the NFL game that Netflix will be doing on Christmas Day. Speaking of the NFL--
Jerry Jones: AT&T Stadium is now the best place in North America for your STADIUM-sized event. You argue that it's The Sphere in Vegas? That's an ARENA-level venue.
Losers of the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson Fight:
The Fans in Live Attendance: They didn't pay money to watch, mostly, a bunch of scrubs, trip over each other all evening in order to watch Mike Tyson only make contact on 18 punches. Even Jake Paul admitted that he took his foot off of the gas in the later rounds. That's why you heard the booing.
The Fans watching on Netflix: My screen was buffering and pixelating during the Goyat/Nunes fight at 8:30 pm. As the night went on, the picture was better, but not smooth streaming.
Fred Hunt (the author): Beacon of Speech co-founder Ted asked me who I was rooting for in the fight and I said: "Death." Ted laughed and asked me to please clarify. "People forget that when Mike Tyson was 18, 19, 20 years old, people said a lot of politically incorrect things about him. The called him inhuman and compared him to an animal. Tyson wasn't a boxer, but a street-fighter that had to be molded to the rules of the ring.
If Mike Tyson can hit Jake Paul just once, catch him at just the right angle, I believe that Tyson could still kill a man. If Tyson kills Jake Paul, all of these idiotic boxing exhibitions will end. Inversely, if Jake Paul kills Mike Tyson, Paul won't go down in history as a great boxer, but an opportunist that killed a man of nearly 60 years of age in a bout that never should have been sanctioned in the first place. Jake Paul's empire will start to crumble because people will see him simply for what he is: A Dick.
Instead, what I expect will happen is two guys will dance around and trade a few punches in oversized gloves and shortened rounds, and everyone will get paid."
