Joe Biden's Free Pass

In the last week, I've seen all these headlines:

Where are the headlines in America that read: Joe Biden has America on the Brink of World War III!

They don't exist.

Let's say my city's superintendent goes to the local newspaper and says, "I've had a good run in this district, I'm going to retire on January 1, 2025." Some would be sad that the superintendent was leaving, some happy.

But you would assume that he (or she) would keep working until their last day. You wouldn't expect them to put their feet up on the desk and watch tik tok videos all day.

The superintendent is a public servant. He would, at the very least, still have to show up to some high school band concerts or maybe a varsity basketball game. At minimum, they would still have to go to school board meetings, right?

But what if the school district was in crisis?

What if there was a natural disaster?

What if there was a school shooting?

What if there was a sex scandal between a student and a teacher?

What if that same superintendent kept their feet on their desk and said, "let the next superintendent worry about it."

Even local publications would lambaste that superintendent. There would be mobs with torches and pitchforks on the community Facebook Forums.

Joe Biden is still a public servant, but he might as well be the invisible man. This week, Vladimir Putin launched some ICBMs into Ukraine and the world was on edge. Not one publication held Joe Biden's feet to the fire. Not one.

Now if you're a partisan lackey, your response would be "what do you want Biden to do?" I would respond in a different way. If Donald Trump was president today, and not in 2025, these would have been the national headlines this morning:

CNN: TRUMP HAS AMERICA ON THE BRINK OF WORLD WAR III

Slate: TRUMP'S HISTORIC MISTAKES

Rolling Stone: TRUMP HAS KILLED THE FUTURE

MSNBC: BECAUSE OF TRUMP WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE

NBC News: TRUMP'S NUCLEAR MISCALCULATION

During Trump's first administration, everything in the world, fair or foul, was his fault. When Joe Biden was elected, we got lectures from the media about how complicated the world is.

What if Putin launches a nuke next week? The media will blame incoming president Donald Trump instead of the sitting, and asleep-at-the-wheel president, Joe Biden.

And, just for the sake of argument, let's say Biden is secretly incapacitated and I'm a jerk for trying to hold a feeble old man's feet to the fire. Uh, there's a vice-president right? I DEFINATELY don't see her jetting off to Poland to reassure our allies. She's still collecting a paycheck too, last time I checked.

I googled the simple noun, Kamala Harris, and this was the top search result:

Harris raised $1 billion+ in defeat: She's still sending persistent appeals to donors. No, that's not from the Onion, that's from the mostly neutral AP News. She's collecting government checks while raising money for a job she didn't get? What exactly does SHE do all day?

Again, Europe is scared to death of the events unfolding in Ukraine. You argue Europe isn't our problem? Okay, Ashville North Carolina just had their water supply restored yesterday. Where's the outcry for the slow natural disaster response within our own borders?

I want to see an article written within the last 6 months that simply states: Joe Biden's Fault
