Happy Thanksgiving Racists, Love CNN

Yesterday, November 25, 2021, I went to my in-laws for Thanksgiving dinner. Most of the dinner conversations involving the news of the day centered around the Botswana Covid variant and the new Beatles Documentary on Disney+.

We also talked a lot about football. Lots and lots of football. Pro football, college football, and the (Ohio) high school football playoffs. You know what we didn't talk about? Race relations in America. If you look at the above screenshot, taken just a few minutes before 1 PM on Thanksgiving afternoon, CNN had about 15 lead stories, over half had a race narrative contained within.

The problem with CNN is outlined by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. himself.

“I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

CNN has taken the concept of Critical Race Theory, where you see race everywhere, and applied it to a living, breathing corporate narrative applied on a national level and amped it up to the extreme. They are not embodying the words of Dr. King.

Reporting on Thanksgiving in America is a relatively easy task. You find some nice stories as to why you are giving thanks on the holiday, pre-produce them, then run the stories on Turkey Day, all the while giving most of your newsroom the day off. Your 5th string weatherman has to work in case of travel issues, and your sports intern gets his first TV exposure talking about the Mississippi-Mississippi State game (which Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin won, by the way.)

Instead, CNN is cramming "let's talk about race" down your throat, which is CRT at its finest.

What do you think CNN is grateful for? Seriously. Just about every single opinion story at the network was also about race.
