Hands Off What?

As I was scrolling through my news feed, I kept reading about the Hands Off Protests that are sweeping across America.

I was very focused on work this week and did a poor job of following current affairs. What is Hands Off?

Uh, that's not a clear message at all. That's a vague message.

Earlier this week, Elon Musk indicated that he would be resigning from the DOGE. So you're protesting like it's March? Musk is already leaving. Are you protesting like he's still engaged? Are you moving your message to TeslaTakedown?

If you're protesting Elon Musk being part of the government, you are too late.

And as for Donald Trump, you're protesting that he's the President? Doing things Presidents are apt to do? Listen, protesting the President is your right, but you've got to come up with a better message than Hands Off.

What did you think Donald Trump was going to do if elected? Light up a cigar and put his feet up on the Oval Office table? You want Trump's hands off your country? Well, if you're a Democrat, maybe you shouldn't have tried to nominate a Walking Corpse for President (Biden), and then the Manchurian Candidate (Harris). This is your punishment for being stupid.

You really don't like Trump's policies? What's your end game? Taking to the streets and yelling HANDS OFF while he plays golf in Saudi Arabia? Where does that get you?

So I was going to ask her if she wanted to go to the local Hands Off Rally.

But I really didn't want to mill around Market Square Park. If it was closer, I would have went with her. Like an afternoon out shopping or at a local fair.
