From the Wall Street Journal: The Billionaire has been invoking Christianity as he discusses core beliefs.
Uh, what.....?
If you asked me what human being alive today was the OPPOSITE of Jesus' teachings, Elon Musk would definitely be in the Top 5. Closest person to the definition of the Anti-Christ alive right now? Probably Vladimir Putin, but Elon Musk is in the conversation.
Listen, Jesus was real and had a thick book published based on his teachings.
Now it's the year 2024 and you don't have to follow Jesus' teachings, you really don't. You can say 2,000 years ago was a very long time ago. You can say you're not a Christian. You can say that there's contradictory information in the Bible.
But what Elon Musk is doing is perverting the Message of Jesus. In his defense, a lot of people are doing that right now.
Here's what the mentally ill, like Musk, do, No one has proved that there's a heaven or a hell, but many believe that those two places exist. Many people, like Musk, believe that they are, themselves, good people. So "good people" think they're going to heaven and spout off random quotes that may or may not be attributed to Jesus. Since they think they're good, and Jesus is in charge of heaven, obviously Jesus approves of their ways.
The core of Christianity is to love the sinner, but hate the sin. Elon Musk is an epic, and remorseless, perpetrator of, at least, 6 of the 7 Deadly Sins. He thinks Jesus loves the sinner AND the sin. Again, many people mistakenly believe the same thing. Jesus hung out with the sinners to show them the light, not so Jesus could enjoy the world of sin.
Earlier this year, Musk demanded $50 billion from shareholders of his own company. It was pure, unadulterated greed. The number of humans who have made such extreme monetary demands in the history of the world are probably in the single digits. And Musk didn't demand that money when he was a young, unprincipled man. That was 2 months ago.
Let's be clear, Musk had every right to demand that money, he just can't cite Christianity while doing it. Musk can have 12 kids by 3 different women, you just can't cite Christianity while doing it. Musk can buy a company and purge 75% of the work force, you just can't cite Christianity while doing it.
I'm Fred Hunt, author at Beacon of Speech. If there's a heaven and a hell, my opinion matters zero as to whether you, or anyone else, goes to either destination.
But if you follow the basic tenets of the Bible, I can tell you that Elon Musk is going straight to hell, and the judgement will be short.
If you want to be an Atheist or an Agnostic, that is more than fine, have at it. But I am literally pounding my hands on the table. Christianity has a core set of beliefs and a core set of rules.
Not abstract concepts, but 10 Commandments.
WRITTEN IN STONE.
