Derek Chauvin: Guilty (Thanks to THIS GUY?)

Updated: Apr 22, 2021

Back in the year 2000, the former lead singer of the Dead Kennedys, Jello Biafra, released his 6th spoken word album "Become the Media." A nearly 4 hour diatribe, Biafra touched on multiple subjects from his days as a third party candidate, to his anti-corporate stances, to his stances on police brutality. He was the first one I heard say "Don't Hate the Media, Become the Media."

Before the age of cell phones with the capability to take pictures and record video, Biafra urged citizens to record the police and their misdeeds. Not corporate media. Citizens.

He satirized Police Brutality in the song "Police Truck" way back in 1980.

Don't forget, recording the police is commonplace today, but in the year 2012, Reason.com had to write the article "7 Rules For Recording Police." The fence post for the article was the premise that recording police was part of your 1st Amendment Rights.

Don't get me wrong, if Jello was sitting here next to me, he would say that Darnella Frazier is the hero of the George Floyd Story.

I would thank Darnella Frazier AND Jello Biafra (AND the independent media movement.)

In the background of the Derek Chauvin Trial:

Chris Cuomo says that Police Reform Will Only Happen 'After White People's Kids Start Getting Killed.' Chris Cuomo is playing the race card to save his own job at CNN.

Just a couple of blocks away from my childhood home a few months ago, in a 95% White Suburb. 'Officers Shoot and Kill a Man Who Stabbed Mother in Brunswick Home.' The man who was shot to death was an adult schizophrenic who lived with his Mom.

Not 200 years ago.

Not 50 years ago.

Today.

If you were the white version of George Floyd, with no money in the bank and the same

opioid abuse issues, there's a good chance that the end result would have been the same.

If you were Glen Taylor, there's a zero percent chance that death would have been the end result. Poor white punks and poor white Libertarians have been saying there needs to police reform for a generation.

Between the years 2017 and 2021, every year the race that's killed most by police? WHITE

The left wing media has turned it into a White vs Black issue.

If I reworded the question as such: The Median Household Income in the United States is $68,000, what percentage of those same 1,000 or so citizens shot and killed by police come from a household UNDER the Median? I bet it would be at least 90%. (Coincidentally, the median police income is nearly the same at $66,000.)

Which is the real issue in America.

Until people figure out that the Rich are turning Blacks and Whites against each other, police record you, you record the police. Sadly that's where we're at.

Addendum 4/22/21:

Went to the Alternative Tentacles Website. This is a direct quote from Jello Biafra himself:

"And above all (thanks) to Darnella Frazier, who risked her own life – and those cops’ attacking her on the spot – to video the evidence on her phone that convicted Chauvin."

For Jello's complete statement, see below:
