In the middle of a coronavirus crisis, CNN rolled out with this story...
That story was on April 20, 2020. Now I'm no fan of Kim Jong Un, but this is, like, the third time CNN has said that he's gravely ill, then he'd pop up like 5 days later looking fine.
More egregiously, CNN has repeatedly reported that various members of Jong-Un's family have been executed, then they turn up months later at various state functions.
Why do I doubt CNN today? Because Kim Jong Un is still only 37 or so, depending on your sourcing. I would say there's a 90% chance that, unless there's a coup, the 'Fearless Leader' will be in charge for another 30 or 40 years.
But hey, I'm just a dude on my couch in Ohio. Surely CNN has inside information, they have foreign bureaus in Beijing, China and Seoul, South Korea.....
In CNN's defense, The Blaze had this 2 days later.
Then when you read the article, guess who The Blaze cited as their sourcing? CNN.
On April 25, 2020, I saw this on TMZ
TMZ was the first outlet to confirm Kobe Bryant was dead, maybe Kim Jong Un is dead....

The U.S. News & World Report gave a very thorough and deep dive into the status of Kim Jong Un. He's either dead or alive or fine or in grave health.
If he is dead, he's doing a great job of feigning death, releasing written statements to a few world leader since his "death."
U.S. News & World Report seems to insinuate that Kim had a major medical episode and cites the North Korean leader's past poor health. According to what doctors? Well, you can clearly see he's overweight and he's been photographed smoking....

The Daily Mail (UK) is really, really sure that Kim is dead. Both tabloids that usually get it right when it comes to celebrity deaths are jumping on the CNN bandwagon.
He HAS to be dead, right? Let's check back at CNN....
Ah, CNN is mad that Trump knows and he's not telling. (Let me give CNN a hint: Trump doesn't know, either.)

You see that tiny story in the right hand column? CNN reports, that North Korean media reports, that Kim Jong Un is ALIVE. With pictures. Because CNN still thinks he may be dead and North Korea is using File Photos.
Chinese media?
What happened, really? Unless there's some major subterfuge revealed, you'll find out in a few months that Kim Jong Un had kidney stones or appendicitis and that the Western Media was a bit, uh, "overzealous."
I am going to stop talking about Kim Jong Un here. If North Korea did pull a "Now You See Me, Now You Don't" Trick, I'll have some sort of sequel column, but I'm confident that the North Koreans aren't that smart.
