Chase Oliver Will Not be the Libertarian Candidate in November

As of 11 PM on Tuesday March 5, 2024, Chase Oliver is the leading candidate for the Libertarian Presidential Ticket.

Who, you say?

EXACTLY.

I follow former Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate in 2020, Spike Cohen, and he hasn't made a peep about running. I believe he has inside information that a "name" candidate is going to jump into the Libertarian Race.

Can I prove Cohen has inside info? No, but something is fishy in Libertarian Land. Their convention is in May and all of the usual Libertarian Suspects have cleared a path for an unknown force.

I believe that unknown force is Robert Kennedy Jr. He is currently running independent, but he shares many of the same anti-vaccine beliefs as the Libertarians. It doesn't make any sense for him to run in the Libertarian Primaries, all he has to do is bring his name and make a few backroom deals and, voila, RFK Jr. is the nominee. It also makes sense that RFK Jr. would use the infrastructure set up by the Libertarians in past elections this time around.

As a matter of fact, we're going to wrap up this up now. I think it's already a done deal that RFK Jr. is going to be the Libertarian nominee, but we're going to publish this tonight and put it in the vault for a later confirmation. Just because the information isn't available for public consumption, doesn't mean that a deal hasn't been made.

As the media crows about the Biden v Trump rematch becoming all but official on Super Tuesday, I am telling you, the Libertarians are are salivating over RFK Jr.'s polling numbers.

This Fall is going to turn into a 3-Legged Race.

Good for Democracy.

Addendum 12 Hours Later: After Super Tuesday's vote tally, Chase Oliver now has around 1,400 votes. Yes, you read that right, not delegates, but total votes.

<sigh>
