Last night I came across a picture of Friedrich Nietzsche in the Asylum.
I honestly didn't realize that Nietzsche had died in an asylum. I though he wrote bleak, nihilistic prose until his death.
Then, I came across this article: Did Nietzsche's Own Philosophy Drive Him Insane?
I don't think a deeper question can be asked. Nietzsche was a sickly child, that grew into a sickly man. Nietzsche abused the hardest drugs available to man at the turn of the last century.
Nietzsche fought battles with his own body....
His own sexuality....
His own mind.
So, the core of Nitzsche was: Did his Philosophies drive him insane?
Or did insanity birth his Philosophies?
All great artists have a touch of insanity, right?
Quirks that made them outliers within the human species.
Back in 1988, Perry Farrell, lead singer of the band Jane's Addiction, sang the emotional song Had a Dad:
,
At first, I thought the song was about Farrell's own Father, but if you dig a little deeper, you'll notice Farrell's Father is still around and never left Perry.
Deep within the lyrics, Farrell exasperatedly sings God is Dead.
The person who abandoned Farrell is God.
Over a hundred years after Nietzsche wrote it, Farrell sang it.
The problem is, once any society losses its God, it loses its moral core.
Do I believe in miracles? I do. Who created those miracles?
That I don't know.
You think Nietzche/Farrell were right? You better, at the very least, PRETEND like there's a God, because no God means the unraveling of society.
There's going to be a great RESET within the next 50 years, whether it be the advancement of AI or the discovery of aliens. If God doesn't present himself to mankind soon, he will begin to disappear on a large scale.
How dare I step to the foot of God? Who says I'm of the proper state of mind? How do you know that the synopsis in my brain aren't tangled beyond repair? As a free speech website, we have to grapple with the differences between spirited debate and presenting "wrong" information.
What's wrong today, may not be wrong tomorrow.
How do you know that any of our leaders aren't currently in the throngs of cognitive decline and can make decisions based on the "greater good?"
Joe Biden?
Donald Trump?
Vladimir Putin?
Putting your fate in the hands of senile old men results in the deaths of optimistic young men.
