In America, there's some tabloid fodder that won't go away and that's the White Privilege and the College Admissions Scandal. For those unfamiliar with the story, basically a bunch of wealthy Americans bought spots into elite colleges for their dumb kids.
The topic of white privilege kind of festers under my skin. Why? Because "White Privilege" is a purely left-wing American construct.

Now America is 77% White, yet the top 10 richest Americans are all White. Now the under-educated in America are now screaming "see, see, WHITE PRIVILEGE!"

South Africa is 80% black, but its billionaires are almost all white. Some sourcing has Elon Musk as the richest South African, despite having not lived there since age 17. Musk has citizenship in South Africa, Canada, and the United States.
The rest of the South African list is populated with a lot of white faces, with the distinct exception of South African Black Billionaire, Patrice Motsepe. Born in South Africa, educated in South Africa, and residing in South Africa, Motsepe is all about unlocking the hidden wealth of the African Continent.
So here we are, all the way down at #32 where a minority race has exploited the majority race. I've been hearing about the injustices of apartheid since my youth, this did not just happen recently. What are the solutions in South Africa? There are none that satisfies both the land owners and the majority. What's going to happen there is lots of bloodshed and lots of starving. #40 Pakistan - Shahid Khan was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States as a teen. The rest of the wealthiest in Pakistan are Pakistanis. Khan is so rich, he owns a soccer team in the Premier League. (But not so rich that he could afford a good one, like Abramovich.)
Let's stop there, carpal tunnel is starting to set in from attaching links. In Pakistan, there are no White Overlords. The Pakistani Government uses White Americans as demons to distract their populace from the Pakistanis getting rich off of other Pakistanis and the corrupt Pakistani government.
In America, if you can get the poor whites angry at the minorities and immigrants for taking away the "good jobs" and then you can get poor immigrants and minorities angry at the whites for "stacking the deck," you don't have people asking questions of the men in power. You hate your neighbor instead of the problem.
In other countries, if you can get your poor citizens to hate the Whites in rich countries, it distracts their citizens from their own problems. In homogeneous countries like Iran (99% Persian & Turkic, 99% Muslim), it is much easier to paint different looking enemies than yourself in other countries. If you're the Iranian government, the last thing you need is your restless population questioning what's going on in Tehran. If Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and Syria all set aside their differences and formed a Middle Eastern equivalent of the EU with open borders and using the same currency, imagine the strength of that political entity. Imagine what wealth that conglomerate could generate. But the rich in those countries have no inkling of giving up their power for the greater good. It's much easier to blame the White Devil instead of fixing your own problems.

I had been with Taco Bell on and off, across multiple branches, for 10 years. Long story short, I was promoted to Branch Manager at the Romig Road Taco Bell in Akron, Ohio. Apparently no one went to college in the hood to become a TB manager, because the corporate office couldn't fill the position with anyone local. At the time, the posted job of Restaurant General Manager required a college degree and 3-5 years of restaurant experience.
No one wanted the job. When I accepted the job, I was the only one who applied (with the posted requirements of the position.) By the end of my first month, I was the only white employee on an all-black crew. And you know what I learned? There's good black workers and there's bad black workers. Just like in the suburbs where there were good white workers and bad white workers. Simply a different set of problems.
The store was on the imaginary racial divide line in Akron. 90% black to the north. 60-40 split where the branch was, 95% white just across the Akron line into Norton.
Which brings us to the crux of the article. I've been rambling on and on about the larger systems in the world and who benefits from them. But if you shrink the map all the way down to the ward level in Ohio, you'll start to realize that all politics are local.
Whenever there was a problem, I, the White Manager, would pick up the phone and, invariably, a White Policeman would show up at my door.
Guess what? Things still haven't changed.
The leftist is shaking his fist, "you just proved my point, yet again, dummy! The White Cops are holding down the Blacks." Say you're a Young, Black Left-Winger making that statement. Here's my simple response.
"Then change the system and become a cop."
"Uh, what?"
Akron is hiring, I looked it up. And at a fairly good wage to boot.
You might not want to be a policeman in one of the most dangerous cities in Ohio. But who does? Just like I didn't want to go to Akron to be a Taco Bell Manager. But I had a young fiancée and I was looking at opportunities for advancement. To further my point, let's delve a bit deeper into some statistics. The Crime Index below lists the highest crime rates in Ohio.
The population of the Great State of Ohio is 11.73 million.

Instead of blaming White Privilege, try blaming your Deadbeat Dad for not holding the family together, your Preacher for not holding your religious community together, or the Drug Dealer for laying waste to a lost generation. Look all the way down at #466 out of #467, there's Cleveland, Ohio. "Whatever, Fred Hunt, it's not like you know any Cleveland Cops where you know what's going on at ground level." As a matter of fact I do.....
I talk to 'Officer Joe' all the time. About 30 seconds after Cleveland lost the Ohio Supreme Court Ruling requiring cops to be residents, Officer Joe moved out to my neck of the woods. Black Mayor Frank Jackson had a quandary. Hoping to shore up his base, he gutted the resources of his police department. As morale fell, policemen wanted to move the hell out of Cleveland, further eroding the city's tax base. In the world of Frank Jackson, appear hard on crime, get voted out of office. Appear soft on crime, all your cops want to move out of the city.
Now in Frank Jackson's World, you'd just replace the fleeing cops with citizens from the neighborhood. Problem is, even with a Black President, Mayor Jackson had problems recruiting Black Police Officers.
And even the Black Police Officers started to notice something. The Whites weren't coming into the city in large numbers to perpetrate crimes. Most of the crime was "black on black."
Big City Mayors from coast to coast know this secret. So they went after a different scapegoat.
The Gun. Now you've opened up a whole 'nother can of worms.
We'll use Frank Jackson again as the stereotypical ignoramus. Frank Jackson decided that in order to curb crime, he wouldn't add more cops (because they'd probably be white), or give the cops more resources, he would demonize the gun. He attempted to push through some of the toughest gun legislation in the State. Of course the Ohio Supreme Court ruled against Jackson, he was trying to curb the Constitutional Rights of the Black Majority in Cleveland.
But what you didn't see on the local news was commentators lamenting Jackson trying to strip Blacks' rights guaranteed by the second amendment. Instead Jackson cried ignorance. What do you want me to do about crime in the city? (Hint: Hire more cops.)
When you have a family to support, you are more likely to stick it out at your crappy job (i.e. being a cop...or a Taco Bell Manager.) The more you're stuck at your crappy job, the less time and energy you have for crime. Listen, you can list me exceptions to the rule all day long, but if you look at the statistics and trends, social scientists have long espoused the benefits for children who live in two-parent homes. Again, it is easier to be mad at the Whites, than to be mad at your Father.
If your definition of White Privilege is that both your of parents are around and your immediate family isn't in jail. Well, that's a low, low bar for the definition of privilege.
"If you had ever been randomly pulled over by the cops, you would have a MUCH different opinion than the one you're presenting here today." What are you talking about? I've been randomly pulled over by the cops, at least, a dozen times in my life. Not including speeding tickets, I have been pulled over multiple times for no reason. I was taking my daughter's friend home LAST MONTH and some cops pulled me over because they received an anonymous call of a "dark colored vehicle driving erratically." I wanted to say "that's what you're going with?" But I didn't. I was respectful and kept quiet. [Hey, thanks North Ridgeville PD for my reference point.]
Again, remember I used to work at Taco Bell?
I remember driving home at 3 am and seeing cops all the time.
Here are my favorite random middle of the night excuses from Cops from first hand experience:
"Your License Plate light is out."
"Your car was drifting right."
"You made multiple lane changes while I was following you."
"You had your turn signal on too long."
"You have a damaged bumper."
Luckily the smell of stale beans and look of defeat confirmed to the said officers that I really was a Taco Bell Employee. My friends all used to joke that I MUST have been doing something wrong to get pulled over so much. Yeah, I was. I was working in the middle of the night while their parents paid for their college.
While I was working on this article, Kyle Korver, former Cleveland Cavalier, was apparently working on an article of his own from his own perspective.
When he was on the Cavs, I liked Kyle Korver, so I read his missive about being a White Man in a Black League. Kyle Korver's points are easily countered by someone not flying on a private jet to work.
You are in a league of millionaires. You admit that 75% of your league is minorities. Yet there's a huge problem with racism in this nation based on racist taunts? In a racist nation, your SPORTS LEAGUE is not populated with MINORITY MILLIONAIRES.

Do I doubt that there's racist taunts in basketball? No I do not. But you know what story is as old as time itself? Rich Athletes being taunted by fans. When I was a kid, I used to read stories about Ty Cobb. I never saw him play and saw almost no highlights of his exploits, but I clearly remember the story of him climbing into the stands and beating on a heckler. Beating him BADLY.
Another major controversy in Cobb's career occurred in 1912, and this led to the first players' strike. During a game in New York on May 15 of that year, Cobb was subjected to vicious and unrelenting heckling from the fans, especially a disabled man named Claude Lueker, who for several years had made sport of heckling Cobb whenever the Tigers visited Hilltop Park. Finally, unable to stand the abuse and urged on by his teammates, Cobb went into the stands and attacked Lueker, who had lost one hand and most of the other in a printing press accident. When he was informed of the incident, Ban Johnson suspended Cobb indefinitely. Despite their dislike for Cobb, his teammates were outraged, and announced that they would not play again until Cobb was reinstated. After a one-game farce in which the Tigers fielded a team of semipro players, the matter was resolved when Cobb's suspension was reduced to ten days. - Society For American Baseball Research
By all accounts, Ty Cobb was a horrible human being. The year before, 1911, Ty Cobb was the highest paid player in all of baseball at $9,000 a year. What do you think Lueker was saying to Cobb? You can speculate all you want, but the fact remains is that Ty Cobb didn't care about the money, he didn't care about his safety, he was going into the stands to beat someone's ass. (Granted, Cobb may or may not have known the heckler was disabled.)
What Kyle Korver fails to point out is that there are mechanisms today to eject fans.
Back in 2004, Ron Artest was laying down and some doofus chucked a beer at him. Ron Artest then went into the stands to administer some vigilante justice. You can watch the video for yourself above. I was in the minority and respected Ron Artest for going into the stands. Some A-Hole throws a beer at you and it's go time.
But if you go back and listen to the AUDIO version of the clip, one of the announcers also supported Artest going into the stands based on the premise that the fans deserved it for all of the racist taunts endured by the players over the years. I don't disagree with the sentiment, but my question is why have the players had to endure racist taunts?
Your beef should be with the NBA for allowing it. You should be telling your employer you won't play in a hostile work environment. If you don't control your crowd, you're going to go into the stands, Slap Shot-style, and pound on some racists.
Ron Artest ended up losing nearly $5 million in salary through an 86 game suspension. That penalty did NOT fit the crime, but the NBA didn't want the precedence of players looking like "thugs."
If you told a black player today that you'd kick him out of the league for beating a racist fan, can you imagine the shitstorm that would happen in the media? The NBA bears some of the responsibility for not protecting it's own players. Let's use Kyle Korver's Utah Jazz as an example. This past year, the Utah Jazz payed its 15 players $113,000,000. Let's have those 15 players take a vote. Do you want to sacrifice $1,000,000 for heavy security around the court. Every fan that throws racist taunts around is quickly apprehended and banned from the arena for life. You can't use the excuse that you don't have the manpower to police all unruly fans.
You don't go to jail, but you don't have a Constitutional Right to watch the Utah Jazz live either, so you just lose your $10,000 investment of courtside seats. If I wanted to swear at a Jazz player (I wouldn't, but just follow me here) they would never hear me. Sitting in the nosebleed section, I could swear all I wanted, all the players would hear is static.
You know who's taunting the Rich Black Players and they hear it? Rich White Fans. Rich White Fans that don't think they're getting a return on investment. If they were real racists, they wouldn't buy NBA tickets. So if you're upset with racist taunts, blame the people who partially pay your salary, not random Bloggers in the Midwest. Your salary does not come from a magical spigot. It comes from ticket sales and TV money.

Let me re-iterate, nothing is stopping Kyle Korver and his fellow players from going into the stands except for money. You know that the fans are unarmed, they have to wait in long lines just to be admitted into the arena. "The NBA would punish the players worse than they punished Artest if they did that. Listen, Fred Hunt, you missed the point of the Korver article." Okay, what was the point, in a nutshell.

The fact that black Americans are more than twice as likely to live in poverty as white Americans is wrong. The fact that black unemployment rates nationally are double that of overall unemployment rates is wrong. The fact that black imprisonment rates for drug charges are almost six times higher nationally than white imprisonment rates for drug charges is wrong. The fact that black Americans own approximately one-tenth of the wealth that white Americans own is wrong." - Kyle Korver
How about we solve racism right here, right now, using Kyle Korver logic. Because he does have some valid points.
More likely to be incarcerated?
Okay, let's loosen up the drug laws. We draw lines in the sand between recreational drugs, prescription drugs, and hard-core drugs. You should never legalize heroin, but marijuana is now legal in a handful of states, might as well tax it, uh, I mean legalize it across the nation. How about we send more blacks to rehab than to jail. I actually kind of agree with Korver there.
Remember, we are a Libertarian-Leaning website, not a Right-Wing website.
More likely to live in poverty?
According to the Census, poverty is driven mostly by single-parent households. We just talked about it. You could argue that blacks have more single-parent households, and then I'd respond....No, I'm not going to respond. I'm going to throw the ball back into Kyle Korver's Court. How about if he introduces a ballot initiative in the Jazz locker room to get a Marriage Mandate on the local Utah ballot. All black, pregnant women are mandated by law to get married to the Father when they give birth. I'm sure he'll get LOTS of signatures on that initiative.
More likely to be unemployed?
Back to my glorious years Taco Bell years. I hired lots of black employees in my time in Akron. But due to the high crime rate, the Mr. Hero next door closed, the Wendy's across the street closed, the Mall (Rolling Acres) was closed and recently demolished. There was a net loss of hundreds of jobs in the area while I worked there. Many service industries do not thrive in high-crime, urban areas. In the suburbs, chain stores pop up like weeds.
Using our favorite NBA Star and (former) Akron Resident LeBron James as a prime example of talking out of both sides of his mouth, James grew up in Akron and when he was looking for investment opportunities he chose an up-and-coming restaurant chain called Blaze Pizza. Blaze Pizza is rapidly expanding across the nation, yet somehow no branches in Akron. (The only Blaze Pizza in Ohio is in the High Rent District north of Canton.)

But on the other hand, how about if we mandated occupational racial makeups in the NBA? No more than 12% of black Athletes in American Sports. I am actually for reparations, if you do it the right way.
The scam with reparations is that the sins of American slavery are sins you can fix. If you want reparations, fine, here's how you do it. If you can prove that you are a descendant of a slave, you don't have to pay income taxes for, let's just throw a number out there, 5 years. You still have to pay sales tax and property tax, but for 5 years all of your income tax is returned.
And, say you're 19 years old and you're making no money, your once in a lifetime 5 year tax exemption can be deferred until the age of your choosing.
You could argue that's not enough money. Okay, let's go with 10 years of no income tax. No matter what metric you choose, at some point reparations are paid. In return you are going to have to have all race-based organizations dissolved. Living in a Post-Race America, reparations "solved" everything.
The only organization that can ask about your race is the census. Why the census?

I came across an interesting article in the Daily Beast: Horna Chaos as Antifa and Proud Boys Clash over Black Metal Band with Alleged Nazi Ties. Horna is a Black Metal Band that is getting their venues yanked out from under them. Why haven't you heard about this before? Because Horna plays at shitty venues with capacities in the DOZENS. They sell HUNDREDS of albums. Horna has culled numerous musicians with dicey backgrounds. You know who else has dicey backgrounds? Almost all other Black Metal musicians in the world, if they could play nice with other human beings, they wouldn't be in Black Metal bands.
