That clever little quote came on Bill Maher’s HBO show on Friday October 28. The very next day the quote was in The Daily Beast. Of course the Left is worried, Hillary is awesome, but it’s all those darned characters around her that are dragging her down. Poor innocent Hillary. Let’s just review Hillary’s choices regarding these gentlemen quickly, shall we?
Her husband, William Jefferson Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, serial adulterer, was impeached for having sexual relations with an intern. If you or I had relations with an intern at our places of business or educational facility, we would be fired. But not Bill, Hillary was secretly mad, but publicly she blamed the impeachment on the vast right wing conspiracy. She enabled him and his punishment with her wasn’t divorce, or separation, no. Apparently she put him on double secret probation. She had a chance to put consequences to his behavior, but she didn’t.
The Donald Trump you are learning about today is the same Donald Trump that’s been around for, at least, 20 years, and probably forever. Did Hillary Clinton ever say that she wouldn’t take the money of such a deplorable human being? No. She had a chance to put consequences to his behavior, but she didn’t.
Anthony Weiner had sexting scandals in 2011 and 2016, both times his wife was a high level official in the Clinton machine. Did Hillary Clinton distance herself from Huma, when Abedin should have, at the very least, resigned to put her house in order and save Clinton the embarrassment of being tied into yet another scandal? No. Clinton had a chance to put consequences to Weiner’s behavior, but she didn’t.
Why am I beating the drum so loudly about Clinton’s lack of action? Because apparently everything Bill Maher says is newsworthy. He continued on his show, but this quote came directly from the Huffington Post “(they) can’t deny Trump is horrible, it’s on tape,” Maher said of Republicans. “So they want voters to believe Hillary (Clinton) is just as bad.” So again, the massive right-wing conspiracy is smearing poor innocent Hillary Clinton and it’s up to comedians and their willing partners in the media to prop her up.
In response to all of this, Donald Trump, King of the Pot Calling the Kettle Black, said this: “Huma Abedin, the top aide to Hillary Clinton and the wife of perv sleazebag Anthony Wiener, was a major security risk as a collector of info.”- Back in August of 2015, reprinted on The Blaze October 29, 2016.
My response to all of it is disgust. The Clintons are as bad as the Trumps and the Trumps are as bad as the Clintons. Everyday it’s into the gutter to do some mudslinging. Meanwhile, if you believe the left-wing media, Gary Johnson is slipping in the polls. They don’t tell you they are manipulating the polling mechanisms at CNN.
Gary Johnson is clearly the rational choice in an irrational election. Too bad Johnson doesn’t have multi-millionaire accomplices or multi-national media corporations in his back pocket. And too bad more people don’t see it.
