The exact time I fell in love with Punk Music was in 1980. My parents bought me a K-Tel album called Rock 80. On the recording was the song "Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?" by the Ramones, despite the fact that the song wasn't a hit. Why am I sharing this personal information on my first post? I read a sad article on RollingStone.com today about how all the original Ramones are dead (which I knew), and mostly hated each other (which I also knew). Well then, why did I read a long article on mostly known information? 'Cause the Ramones were awesome and they blazed their own path. That's what I'm attempting to do in a nutshell with Beacon of Speech.....make my own path.
